Noura Gina Ammar · Mental Performance Practitioner

She didn't build this because she studied how to. She built it because she needed it.

If you've ever sat in this exact place

If you've ever done all the work and the pattern still ran you.

If you've ever named the trauma, traced the lineage, and still felt the same trigger fire on cue.

If you've ever wondered why the insight doesn't translate into the body.

If you've ever been the high-functioning one, the one everyone else relies on, and quietly lost yourself inside it.

If you've ever been a practitioner whose own clients plateau in the same place you've plateaued.

Then the rest of this page is for you. Because she sat there too.

Before she was the practitioner, Noura was the person the methodology was built for. The year everything collapsed at once, chronic pain, panic attacks, grief, the ground gone in every direction, wasn't a breakdown. It was a messy middle. The longest one of her life. The threshold between who she was and who she had to become.

She didn't push through it. She stayed in it. And she built the tools that made staying possible. Every protocol in the GROUND Sequence was calibrated under those conditions. Not in a training room, in a nervous system that needed it to work.

"The methodology was built because it needed to work. Not because it looked good on paper. The messy middle is where the pattern is most malleable. What I built is what makes staying in it possible, for my clients, and for the practitioners who certify in it."

Noura Gina Ammar

The messy middle is where the pattern is most malleable. Most people experience the discomfort of genuine change and conclude: this isn't working. What they're actually in is the threshold. What the work interrupts is the pattern that makes you leave before it completes.

Credentials, in plain language

NLP Master Practitioner · NLP Trainer · Hypnotherapy Trainer (Michael Stevenson · Transform Destiny)

Trained and certified to train other practitioners. Patterns are stored in structures, and those structures can be updated directly, in the reconsolidation window where beliefs are encoded.

Somatic IFS-informed (Richard C. Schwartz)

Parts aren't pathology. The inner critic, the protector, the exile, formed for reasons. Renegotiation happens in the body, at the developmental window where the part actually lives.

Polyvagal coursework: Dr. Stephen Porges (NICABM)

The vagal system is the portal. Safety is not cognitive, it's physiological. Studied directly through NICABM with Dr. Porges, including Why the Vagal System Holds the Key to the Treatment of Trauma and Polyvagal Theory: Neural Exercises for Safety and Connection.

NICABM: Neurobiology of Trauma & Post-Traumatic Growth

Continuing education with Pat Ogden, PhD · Ruth Lanius, MD, PhD · Dan Siegel, MD · Joan Borysenko, PhD · Kelly McGonigal, PhD · Ron Siegel, PsyD, on how trauma reshapes major brain networks, and what growth looks like on the other side.

Neuroscience-informed coaching

Applied neuroscience for behavior change, bridging brain-network research (encoding, reconsolidation, predictive processing) and what actually happens in the room.

Somatic EMDR, with Dr. Bessel van der Kolk (The Embody Lab)

Somatic EMDR Therapy Certificate faculty included Dr. van der Kolk alongside Dr. Arielle Schwartz and Dr. Scott Lyons. The body keeps the score, and the body has to be part of the intervention.

Continuing education with Dr. Gabor Maté

The Wisdom of Trauma / Conversations on Trauma (The Embody Lab × ERGOS). Trauma is relational and physiological. Safety precedes everything.

Somatic EMDR-informed

Bilateral processing through the body, not just the eyes. The disturbance is metabolized at the level it was stored.

2024 Holistic Therapist of the Year

A decade of integrating the above into a single cohesive methodology that works at all six layers.
